San Francisco, CA (February 28, 2023) – A pedestrian accident took place in the Central Sunset section of San Francisco that left one person injured. The San Francisco Police Department was notified about the crash just before 10:00 a.m. on February 27.
According to officials, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the area of 21st Avenue and Irving Street during the morning hours. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping. The pedestrian was injured as a result of the crash.
One EMS unit responded to the scene to render aid to the victim. The pedestrian was then transported to a local hospital for emergency care.
