Santa Ana, CA (February 28, 2023) – Troopers with the California Highway Patrol were dispatched to provide help at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that took place in the Santa Ana area on Monday evening, February 27.
Calls for help came in just before 4:30 p.m.
According to law enforcement, a white Nissan sedan, a gray pickup truck, a white van, and a fourth vehicle collided on the northbound side of California State Route 57. Troopers rushed to the scene of the accident to provide assistance.
California Highway Patrol and local firefighters closed off multiple travel lanes on the right side of the road just south of Yorba Linda Boulevard.
Emergency medical services were notified that they were needed at the scene. One ambulance was dispatched to care for the injured victims and transfer them to local hospitals.
The crash is currently being investigated by troopers with CHP.
