El Cajon, CA (March 1, 2023) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following a car crash that took place in the El Cajon area.
At approximately 11:24 p.m. on February 25, authorities were notified that a truck accident had occurred on California State Route 52.
Reports from police indicate that a silver Scion box truck and a blue pickup truck collided on the westbound side of California State Route 52. Authorities responded to the scene of the accident and blocked off multiple lanes near Mission Gorge Road.
Firefighters assisted California Highway Patrol in the removal of damaged vehicles and debris.
Area paramedics were dispatched to provide care to the injured victims. Paramedics then transported the injured parties to local hospitals for further treatment.
California Highway Patrol troopers are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
