Car Accidents in California
Every day, hundreds of people have their lives completely turned upside down as a result of car accidents that take place here in California. In most cases, people are hurt in accidents due to the reckless and negligent actions of other motorists. Some of the leading factors in crashes across our state include:
- Speeding: When drivers operate their vehicles at speeds above the posted limits, they can cause severe harm to other people sharing the road. Speeding motorists are more likely to lose control of their vehicles. They are more likely to drift into other lanes of travel and crash into other cars. Additionally, they are more likely to cause devastation during accidents that they cause.
- Failing to yield: When drivers fail to yield to others, they can cause serious accidents that leave victims with life-altering injuries. Regrettably, we see many accidents take place as a result of drivers who fail to yield while entering roadways, switching lanes, or even approaching intersections.
- Running red lights: When drivers fail to stop at intersections and run red lights, they can crash into other vehicles and cause devastation. Drivers are supposed to stop at red lights and stop signs and allow other vehicles to pass through safely. Regrettably, we see many serious accidents take place as a result of drivers who fail to do so.
