Riverside, CA (March 1, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident took place in the Riverside area on Tuesday evening that ended in injuries.
At approximately 4:15 p.m. on February 27, the California Highway Patrol was notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a crash that occurred on East Ontario Avenue.
Authorities arrived at the scene and located a white pickup truck in a black SUV blocking several lanes of traffic in the 19500 block of East Ontario Avenue. A fire hydrant was struck in the middle of the accident, causing water to shoot out all over the roadway.
Medics were called to provide care to victims who suffered injuries as a result of the crash. At least one of the involved parties was transported to a local hospital for medical care.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
