Sacramento, CA (February 28, 2023) – Two vehicles collided in the Sacramento area on Monday evening, leaving at least one person with injuries.
At around 4:00 p.m. on February 27, the California Highway Patrol out of Sacramento responded to the scene of a car crash that took place on the south side of the city.
Reports from authorities show that a gold Jeep and a blue Acura crashed into each other on the westbound side of US Highway 50. The incident occurred in the area near Mather Field Road.
Authorities arrived at the scene and located one person who was not moving.
A number of people were hurt as a result of the collision, and emergency medical services were sent to the scene to assist the affected individuals. At least one of the people who were hurt in the collision was taken to a medical facility in the area.
Multiple lanes were blocked by the crash as emergency crews worked to remove the damaged vehicles and investigate.
Investigations are currently ongoing.
