Santa Clarita, CA (March 1, 2023) – At 6:20 a.m. on February 27, troopers with the California Highway Patrol assisted the Los Angeles County Fire Department at the scene of a major crash that took place in Santa Clarita.
Reports surrounding the collision indicate that a black Acura, a white pickup truck, and a red Honda collided on Vasquez Canyon Road near Bouquet Canyon Road.
The accident blocked multiple lanes of the roadway, prompting firefighters to close off the scene as they provided assistance.
Firefighters were called to the scene to extricate at least one person who became trapped inside their vehicle. Emergency medical services responded to care for the injured victims and transported them to local hospitals.
Tow trucks were called to the scene to remove the damaged vehicles from the road.
California Highway Patrol remained at the scene extensively while working to clear the road. Investigations are currently underway.
