Stockton, CA (February 28, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol was called to provide aid at the scene of a truck accident that took place on Monday evening in the Stockton area. The collision involved multiple vehicles.
At approximately 4:00 p.m. on February 27, authorities were notified that a crash had taken place on US Highway 50.
Upon arriving at the scene of the accident, crews located a white BMW sedan and a semi-truck blocking lane number two of travel on the eastbound side of the highway. Authorities immediately secured the roadway in the area near Jeo Stockton Boulevard.
Area towing companies were called to the scene of the accident to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene.
At least one person was rushed to a local hospital by ambulance following the accident.
The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating.
