Westminster, CA (March 1, 2023) – At 3:50 p.m. on February 28, the California Highway Patrol out of Orange County was notified that a car crash took place in the Westminster area that required emergency assistance.
According to officials, a white Lexus and a gray Toyota 4Runner collided on the northbound side of the Interstate 405 Freeway.
Authorities rushed to the scene of the accident and secured the roadway just south of Magnolia Street. The vehicles came to rest, blocking lane number two.
Highway Patrol went to work immediately on securing the road to prevent further damage or injuries to those involved. A tow truck was requested at the scene to remove the Lexus from the crash site. The vehicle was left with significant front-end damage as a result of the crash.
At least one person suffered injuries and was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
California Highway Patrol troopers are currently investigating the crash.
