Los Angeles, CA (March 2, 2023) – Los Angeles Police Department officers were dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident that took place in central Los Angeles and ended in injuries.

The accident was reported at approximately 3:07 p.m. on February 28.

According to officials, a collision occurred on the northbound side of Highway 101. Investigations show that a vehicle was traveling on the northbound side of the road when it was struck by a second vehicle near 1st Street.

One of the vehicles involved in the accident fled the scene.

Emergency medical services were requested to provide care to victims who suffered injuries. At least one person was then transported to a local hospital for further medical care.

The cause of the collision is currently being investigated.
