Car Accidents in California
It is all too common for victims to be left with serious injuries as a result of motor vehicle crashes that occur in the state of California. Unfortunately, hundreds of injury accidents take place every single day in our state. Many victims involved in these accidents are left with significant injuries that impact their lives immediately and indefinitely. Some of the most common injuries that result from California car crashes include:
- Internal organ Injuries: car crashes that take place with a significant impact can result in lung punctures, spleen ruptures, and other severe internal organ injuries that require extensive medical care.
- Broken bones: These injuries can be particularly debilitating. Victims who suffer from broken bones often have to wear castes for several months. In severe cases, patients may even need surgery. Unfortunately, broken bones can result in the complete loss of limbs if the fracture is extremely severe.
- Spinal cord injuries: Every year, tens of thousands of people across the United States suffer spinal cord injuries as a result of car accidents. Here in California, we see many people left permanently paralyzed as a result of these serious injuries. People who suffer from spinal cord injuries may suffer from permanent paralysis, depending on whether their injury was complete or incomplete.
