Riverside, CA (March 1, 2023) – The area corner was put on standby following a major motor vehicle accident that took place in the Riverside area on Tuesday afternoon.
Just after 3:00 p.m. on February 28, authorities were dispatched to the scene of a major crash that occurred on California State Route 91.
Preliminary reports show that a Chevrolet Suburban and a white Toyota RAV4 collided on the eastbound side of California State Route 91. The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway just past Magnolia Avenue.
At least one person suffered significant injuries as a result of the crash. Although the coroner was put on standby, no fatalities were confirmed in this accident by area officials.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation at this time.
