San Jose, CA (March 1, 2023) – Several parties required emergency medical care following a car crash that took place in San Jose on Monday afternoon, February 27.
Just after 5:30 p.m., the California Highway Patrol was notified that they were needed at the scene of a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 80.
Reports from CHP show that an Audi Q3 and two other vehicles collided on the northbound side of the interstate just south of Bascom Avenue.
Authorities rushed to the scene and closed off a portion of the roadway near the off-ramp.
Multiple victims received medical attention at the scene of the crash. Ambulances transported those who required further care to area hospitals.
The car accident remains under investigation by Highway Patrol at this time.
