Aromas, CA (March 2, 2023) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following a car crash that took place in Aromas on Wednesday evening.
Just after 7:20 p.m. on March 1, the California Highway Patrol was called to provide help at the scene of a car crash on Highway 101.
Collision reports indicate that a blue Dodge Durango in a white Mazda SUV collided on the northbound side of Highway 101. The incident caused delays just south of San Juan Road.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the site of the accident to provide assistance.
Firefighters and California Highway Patrol troopers closed off the roadway for an extended period.
Paramedics rendered aid to the victims who suffered injuries. Those who required further care were provided transportation to local hospitals.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident at this time.
