Truck Accidents in California
Truck accidents are often debilitating. Unfortunately, thousands of people are left with serious injuries as a result of these accidents in our state every year.
The majority of truck accidents that we see on California roadways are a result of negligence. In many cases, victims are able to seek financial compensation from the responsible parties to cover some of the damages and losses that they face resulting from their accidents.
In order to recover after your accident, it is important that you are able to identify who is responsible. While in most cases, the drivers of the truck can be held liable for any resulting accidents. This is particularly true if the accident was a result of a driver speeding, operating their vehicle while impaired, running red lights, or engaging in another negligent action.
In addition to truck drivers, the trucking company may also assume liability for any resulting damages that you face for your crash. This is particularly true if the company fails to maintain its vehicles or they engage in reckless hiring practices.
If the cargo loading company was reckless when they were loading the trailer of the truck and, as a result, the trailer rolled over, or the cargo shifted and caused the crash, the loading company may be held liable for any resulting damages.
After your accident, it is in your best interest to hire a truck accident lawyer to represent you throughout the duration of your claim. Your attorney will be able to build a case on your behalf and fight for fair compensation to ensure you have the money you need for your damages.
