Los Angeles, CA (March 4, 2023) – On March 2, troopers with the California Highway Patrol out of District 7 responded to provide assistance at the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on the south side of Los Angeles that left one person injured.
The accident was reported to officials just before 7:10 p.m.
According to law enforcement, a motorcycle and a blue Hyundai sedan collided on the northbound side of Interstate 110. The motorcyclist was knocked off of their vehicle and came to rest on the road near Century Boulevard, blocking the HOV lane.
Emergency medical services responded to the scene to provide care to the victim. The motorcyclist was then transported to a local hospital for emergency care.
Tow trucks were requested at the scene to remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway. Investigations into the crash are currently underway.
