Northridge, CA (March 4, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Sherwood Forest area sent at least one victim to a local hospital with injuries. At approximately 4:25 p.m. on March 3, the Los Angeles Police Department was notified that they were needed to provide help at the scene of a car crash that took place on Amestoy Avenue.

Authorities arrived at the scene and immediately secured the road in the area near Parthenia Street.

Firefighters and police worked to remove the damaged vehicles from the active lanes of travel on the road. At least one of the people involved in the accident was then transported to a local hospital for emergency care.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently being investigated.
