Sacramento, CA (March 4, 2023) – On March 2, troopers with the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a car crash that took place on the south side of Sacramento at around 720 p.m.
According to reports provided by the California Highway Patrol, a white sedan and a gray pickup truck collided on fruit Ridge Road in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
Authorities arrived at the scene and closed off the eastbound lanes of travel just west of the intersection. There California Highway Patrol troopers and firefighters went to work quickly on removing the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Paramedics treated the victims who suffered injuries as a result of this crash while at the scene. Victims who required further medical attention were then provided transportation to area hospitals.
The California Highway Patrol has initiated an investigation to determine what caused this crash to take place.
