San Diego, CA (March 4, 2023) – A head-on collision that occurred early on Thursday morning in the Grantville neighborhood of San Diego left two people injured.
The accident took place in the 4200 block of Camino Del Rio N at approximately 11:30 a.m., as stated in the police report that was filed by the San Diego Police Department
A was traveling westbound on the roadway Toyota pickup truck when, for reasons that are yet unknown, the vehicle crossed over into the opposite lanes and was involved in a head-on collision with a Honda SUV that was headed eastward.
A 95-year-old man involved in the crash was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, including many fractures. A 77-year-old woman also suffered injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
The Traffic Division of the San Diego Police Department is conducting an investigation into the crash.
