Car Accidents in California

San Leandro, CA – One Hurt in Car Crash on 880 Freeway near Washington AveEvery year, thousands of people lose their lives as a result of car crashes that occur in the state of California. Tens of thousands of other victims are left with serious injuries that affect their lives forever. In many instances, people are hurt as a result of driver negligence. Leading factors in crashes across our state include:

  • Speeding motorists: Drivers who exceed the posted speed limit continue to cause harm. We see many people lose control of their vehicles while speeding and crash into others. Drivers who are traveling on curved road areas and in heavy traffic are more likely to cause serious accidents while speeding.
  • Running red lights: When drivers run red lights at intersections, they are likely to crash into other vehicles. Regrettably, these accidents often result in rollovers that leave victims with devastating injuries.
