San Diego, CA (March 5, 2023) – Just before 1:00 p.m. on March 3, the California Highway Patrol troopers out of San Diego were called to the scene of a car crash that sent one person to a local hospital with injuries.
According to officials, a total of four vehicles were involved in a collision on the northbound side of the 15 Freeway. The incident prompted officials to block off the road just south of Scripps Poway Parkway. Emergency officials remained at the scene for a significant amount of time as they worked to remove the vehicles from lanes four and five. Multiple tow trucks responded to the scene to provide assistance.
One person was injured as a result of the crash. The victim was treated at the scene and rushed to a local hospital for emergency care.
California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the accident.
