Car Accidents in California
Every day, serious car accidents are reported in California. Most often, these accidents are a result of drivers who fail to operate their vehicles in a manner that is needed to keep themselves and others out of harm’s way.
One of the most common causes of crashes that we see in our state’s drivers who fail to yield to others. When drivers are passing through intersections or switching lanes, it is important that they are mindful of other motorists nearby. Regrettably, we see many people hurt as a result of drivers who fail to yield to other motorists who have the right-of-way.
Another leading cause of car crashes in our state is impairment. When drivers are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, they are less likely to be able to control their vehicles in a responsible way. As a result, we see many accidents take place due to drivers who drift into other lanes while impaired or run red lights at intersections.
Finally, reckless driving behavior contributes to a lot of accidents here in California. When drivers weave between traffic recklessly, fail to check their blind spots, or engage in other negligent actions, they continue to place innocent lives at risk.
If you have been hurt as a result of a car crash that was caused by the negligent or reckless actions of another motorist, you may be able to take legal action. A California car accident lawyer can help you seek the maximum compensation for all damages that you face.
