Truck Accidents in California

Following a motor vehicle accident involving a semi-truck, it is crucial that you act quickly to protect your legal rights. Victims who are harmed in these accidents are often able to pursue legal action. When it comes to truck accidents, there are various parties who can be held liable for any damages that you have suffered.
In the majority of truck accidents, victims file personal injury claims against the drivers. Truck drivers who fail to operate their vehicles in a responsible manner and cause harm to others should be held liable for their actions. Far too often, serious truck accidents take place as a result of drivers who are speeding, drowsy, or impaired.
Truck companies can also be held liable for any accidents that take place involving trucks that their company owns. Truck companies are required to vet drivers before they hire them properly. Unfortunately, we see many people hurt as a result of truck accidents caused by drivers who are unqualified or unlicensed to operate the vehicles.
In other cases, victims are able to file claims against cargo companies, maintenance companies, and parts manufacturers. Following your accident, it is important that you reach out to a Whitewater truck accident lawyer to determine who you can take legal action against.
