Fontana, CA (March 6, 2023) – One person lost their life as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the Fontana area on Sunday evening.
On March 5, the California Highway Patrol was dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of a crash on Whittram Avenue.
Reports provided by CHP show that two vehicles, identified as a red Chevrolet Silverado and a gray Honda sedan, collided on Whittram Avenue at the intersection of Beech Avenue.
The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway for an extended period while working to remove the damaged vehicles and debris from the road.
One person suffered severe injuries due to the accident. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the number of injured victims has not been reported.
