Los Angeles, CA (March 6, 2023) – Two people were transported to an area hospital for the treatment of injuries following a car crash that took place in South Los Angeles early Sunday morning.
The Los Angeles police department was called at approximately 1:12 a.m. on March 5 to provide assistance at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that took place on West Manchester Avenue.
According to officials, a collision blocked West Manchester Avenue at the intersection with South Denker Avenue. The car crash prompted emergency personnel to close off the road for an extended period as they worked to clear the scene.
Emergency medical services rendered aid to the victims while on-site. Two people were then transported to area hospitals for further medical care.
The Los Angeles Police Department and firefighters remained at the scene for an extended period.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is currently ongoing.
