Palm Desert, CA (March 6, 2023) – On March 5, California Highway Patrol troopers were called to the scene of a pedestrian accident that took place in the Palm Desert area that claimed one person’s life.
According to reports, just before 6:10 p.m. on Sunday, authorities were notified that an auto-pedestrian accident occurred on Calliandra Street.
According to officials, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Calliandra Street in the area of Alamo Drive. The pedestrian was severely hurt in the accident.
Authorities rushed to the scene and immediately secured the roadway. Paramedics provided care to the injured victim. However, the pedestrian ended up passing away as a result of the injuries they suffered. No other injuries were reported.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
