Marin, CA (March 7, 2023) – California Highway Patrol troopers were requested at the scene of a car crash that took place in the Marin area and ended in injuries. On March 5, authorities were notified that a car crash took place on US Highway 101.
Preliminary reports show that at 1:54 p.m., a silver Chevrolet, a white Toyota, and a white Subaru collided on the northbound side of the highway. The incident prompted officials to close off the road just south of the off-ramp for nave Drive.
The California Highway Patrol troopers and firefighters worked to remove the damaged vehicles and debris from both lanes four and five of the roadway.
Tow trucks from multiple companies in the area responded to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene.
Paramedics were requested at the site of the accident to tend to injured victims. Emergency medical services and then transported the injured victims to area hospitals for further treatment.
California Highway Patrol troopers are currently investigating.
