Berkeley, CA (March 8, 2023) – A bicycle accident took place in the downtown Berkeley area that sent one person to a local hospital with injuries.
At approximately 7:30 p.m. on March 5, authorities were notified that they were needed at the scene of an auto accident on Hearst Avenue.
Preliminary crash reports show that a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle on Hearst Avenue in the area of Walnut Street. The bicyclist suffered injuries due to the crash.
Paramedics responded to the scene of the accident to provide care to the victim. The injured party was then transported to a local hospital for further medical care.
