Chico, CA (March 8, 2023) – Four vehicles were involved in a collision on Tuesday afternoon that left at least one person injured.

The accident was reported at around 3:00 p.m. on March 7.

According to officials, a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, a semi-truck, a silver Toyota Camry four-door sedan, and two other vehicles were involved in a collision on California State Route 99.

The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway just north of Cana Highway.

The impact of the crash caused one of the vehicles to roll over and come to rest on its roof. The vehicle then caught on fire.
