Los Angeles, CA (March 8, 2023) – On March 7, troopers with the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on the west side of the city that sent at least one person to an area hospital with injuries. The accident was reported to officials at approximately 4:25 p.m.
Preliminary investigations provided by CHP show that a Toyota Corolla, another Toyota, and an unknown sedan all collided on the westbound side of Interstate 10. The incident blocked multiple lanes on the westbound side near Fort Street.
Authorities responded to the scene of the accident to remove the damaged vehicles and debris from the road.
One ambulance was present at the scene to provide medical attention to those who had sustained injuries. At least one person was sent to a hospital in the area for additional medical attention.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
