Mojave, CA (March 8, 2023) – One person has died as a result of a motor vehicle collision that took place on Tuesday afternoon, March 7, in the Mojave area. At around 1:50 p.m., troopers with the California Highway Patrol were dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of a car crash on highway 58.
Reports from authorities demonstrate that a semi-truck T-boned a second vehicle on Highway 58 in the area near California City Boulevard. The impact of the crash caused one man to be ejected from his vehicle.
One person suffered fatal injuries due to the accident. The victim was pronounced dead on site as a result of their injuries by the county coroner. Authorities have not publicly identified the victim at this time.
California Highway Patrol troopers are currently investigating the incident.
