Oceanside, CA (March 8, 2023) – On March 7, troopers with the California Highway Patrol were dispatched to the scene of an automobile accident in the Oceanside area that sent a pedestrian to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.

At approximately 4:15 p.m., a pedestrian was walking in the area of 31322 Cole Grade Road when they were struck by a vehicle.

Police, firefighters, and paramedics all responded to the scene of the accident to provide assistance. The police and firefighters closed off a portion of the roadway as medics rendered aid to the pedestrian.

The injured victim was transported to a local hospital for emergency medical care.
