Whitewater, CA (March 7, 2023) – A major motor vehicle accident was reported in the Whitewater area on Monday morning that resulted in injuries. Just before 6:30 a.m. on March 5, authorities were notified that a car crash took place on Interstate 10.
According to the preliminary reports provided by the authorities, a collision that occurred on the eastbound side of the interstate included a total of three automobiles. As a result of the crash, authorities were forced to shut down the roadway close to Haugen Lehmann Way.
One person involved in the crash suffered serious injuries. Emergency medical services responded to the scene to provide care to the victim and transport them to area hospitals.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
