Redwood City, CA (March 8, 2023) – A multi-vehicle accident was reported in the Redwood City area that sent one person to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries on Monday evening, March 6.
At around 4:15 p.m., a Ford Ranger, a silver Ford Escape, and a third vehicle collided on Highway 101. The incident prompted officials to close off the southbound side of the highway just south of Whipple Avenue.
Emergency crews responded to the scene in provided aid to the victims. One person suffered injuries that required further medical care. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
Emergency crews remained at the scene extensively as they worked to clear lanes four and five of the road.
Investigations into the accident are currently underway.
