Riverside, CA (March 9, 2023) – On March 8, troopers with the California Highway Patrol responded to provide assistance at the scene of a car crash that took place on El Sobrante Road.
Reports provided by authorities show that at approximately 4:00 p.m., a big rig tanker and a small tan sedan collided on El Sobrante Road near the intersection of Palm Road. The incident prompted California Highway Patrol troopers to close the roadway for an extended period as they worked to clear the intersection.
At least one person suffered injuries in the crash and had to be transported to a local hospital.
California Highway Patrol troopers have an active investigation underway to determine what caused the accident to occur.
