Los Angeles, CA (March 10, 2023) – An automobile accident reported in Central City, Los Angeles resulted in injuries.
Just after 6:00 a.m. on March 10, authorities were called to the scene of a car crash that occurred on East 17th Street.
Preliminary reports show that a white pickup truck and a gray sedan collided on East 17th Street at Griffith Avenue. The incident blocked multiple lanes of the highway, prompting officials to close down an extensive area of the road as they worked to clear the scene.
The white pickup truck came to rest on the center lane of the road while the gray sedan came to rest on the shoulder.
Injuries were reported as a result of the accident. Emergency medical services responded to care for injured victims and transferred them to area hospitals.
The accident remains under investigation.
