Mountain View, CA (March 10, 2023) – Authorities in Mountain View confirmed that two people were left injured following a multivehicle pileup that took place during the evening hours on Wednesday, March 8.

At approximately 8:25 p.m., a total of five vehicles collided on the northbound side of Highway 101. The incident prompted emergency officials to arrive at the scene and immediately close off the roadway just north of the off-ramp for Rengstorff Avenue.

Emergency officials went to work on removing a black Mazda, a gray Nissan, a black Tesla, and two great Toyotas from the road.

Two people were injured in the accident. The victims were provided care at the scene and transported to Stanford Hospital for emergency treatment.

California Highway Patrol troopers are currently investigating the crash.
