Truck Accidents in California
On average, around 550 people are injured in car accidents in the state of California every day. These accidents add up to more than 200,000 people suffering injuries as a result of collisions in our state annually. In many cases, these accidents are entirely preventable. Innocent people continue to suffer. Devastating consequences every day as a result of negligent drivers.
We see far too many accidents take place as a result of drivers who are under the influence of alcohol. When drivers are impaired, they may not be able to make responsible decisions while operating their vehicles. As a result, they may drift into other lanes and strike other vehicles and people nearby.
In addition to intoxication, we see many accidents occur as a result of drivers who pass traffic control devices at intersections. Running a red light or passing a stop sign at an intersection can result in a vehicle crashing into another vehicle that has the right of way to proceed. Unfortunately, these accidents often result in people suffering significant injuries due to their vehicles rolling over and passengers becoming trapped inside or ejected.
Other common causes of car accidents in California include drivers who are speeding, failure to yield, and are otherwise negligent. When motorists operate their vehicles irresponsibly, they can cause devastating accidents that leave victims with life-changing injuries.
