Contra Costa, CA (March 11, 2023) – On March 9, the California Highway Patrol troopers responded to the scene of a crashing Contra Costa that sent one person to an area hospital with injuries.

The accident was reported just after 5:30 p.m.

According to officials, a Honda Accord and a BMW collided on Highway 4 in the area near Cummings Skyway. The incident prompted officials to close off multiple lanes in the area.

One person involved in the crash was hurt. Paramedics rushed to provide aid to the injured victim on the scene. The patient was then transported to a local hospital for further medical care.
