Car Accidents in California
Car accidents occur every day in California. In fact, more than 25 people are injured every hour as a result. These incidents add up to over 200,000 people suffering injuries due to motor vehicle accidents statewide. There are countless instances where innocent people are harmed in accidents due to reckless and negligent motorists. We see many victims hurt as a result of drivers who:
- Operate their vehicles while intoxicated.
- Operate their vehicles while high on drugs.
- Operate their vehicles while too tired.
- Operate their vehicles at a high rate of speed.
- Fail to yield to other motorists.
- Run red lights at intersections.
The unfortunate truth is that the majority of accidents that take place here in California are entirely preventable. Innocent people continue to pay the ultimate price for reckless and negligent motorists.
After being injured in an accident, it only makes sense that you are able to hold the person who caused you harm accountable. In California, victims are able to file personal injury claims against those who caused them harm. These claims are designed to provide financial relief for medical costs, vehicle repair expenses, lost wages, and more. It is important that victims file claims early on to provide themselves with the best chance of holding the negligent drivers accountable and getting justice.
