Yuba Sutter, CA (March 11, 2023) – A motorcyclist was left injured following a vehicle accident that took place in the Yuba Sutter area on Friday afternoon, March 10.
At approximately 3:45 p.m., California Highway Patrol troopers out of Chico were dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of a crash on California State Route 70.
According to officials, a motorcycle and a second vehicle collided on the northbound side of the highway. The second vehicle fled the scene of the accident, leaving the motorcycle and the rider on the roadway just south of North Beale Road.
CHP and local firefighters responded to the scene of the accident and closed off the roadway. The Yuba County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene to assist.
The motorcyclist was injured in the accident and transported to a local hospital for further care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
