Los Angeles, CA – Vehicle Collision on S Central Ave near E Century BlvdEvery day, car crashes leave victims in California with devastating injuries. We see countless people hospitalized with severe trauma to the head, internal organ injuries, broken bones, and other serious injuries that impact their lives indefinitely. Unfortunately, many victims are hurt in accidents due to the negligence of others. Leading factors in car crashes include:

  • Speeding
  • Impairment
  • Distractions
  • Failure to yield
  • Pass traffic control devices (stop signs or red lights)

When drivers are negligent and reckless, they can cause serious accidents that leave people with devastating injuries. Unfortunately, these actions can lead to various types of motor vehicle accidents. These include

  • Head-on collisions: When the front of one vehicle comes into contact with one another, this is referred to as a head-on collision. These accidents often take place at high force, increasing the severity of injuries that victims suffer.
  • Rear-end collisions: When the front of one car collides with the back of another, this type of accident is known as a rear-end collision. These kinds of collisions typically take place when one vehicle has stopped or slowed down, and the other vehicle does not have sufficient time to come to a complete stop before running into it.
  • Side-impact or T-bone collisions: Accidents that include the front end of one vehicle colliding with the side of another vehicle are referred to as “T-bone” accidents. T-bone collisions, due to the angle of impact, are among the most hazardous types of car accidents, and as a result, victims often suffer serious injuries or even fatalities.
