Placer County, CA (March 12, 2023) – On March 9, troopers with the California Highway Patrol were called to the scene of an automobile accident in Placer County that left one person injured.
The motor vehicle collision was reported just after 3:20 p.m. on Thursday.
According to official reports, two vehicles collided on grass Valley Highway, just south of Poppy Lane. The incident impelled California Highway Patrol troopers to close off several lanes in the area as they went to work on removing the damaged vehicles.
One person was hurt in the accident. Emergency medical services responded to the scene of the accident to assist the injured victim. The victim was then transported to a local hospital for further care.
The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the accident.
