Altadena, CA (March 13, 2023) – Just after 8:45 a.m. on March 11, California Highway Patrol was dispatched to a traffic collision in the Altadena area that left one bicyclist injured.
According to officials, a bicyclist was riding in the area of Rosemead Boulevard and Duarte Road during the morning hours. For unknown reasons, they were struck by a white Tesla.
The bicyclist was thrown onto the roadway. Authorities arrived at the crash site and located the bicyclist lane on the road.
The paramedics went to work quickly on treating the bicyclist for their injuries. The victim was then transported to a local hospital for further care. No other injuries were reported as a result of this crash.
The incident is being investigated at this time.
