Los Angeles, CA (March 13, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol out of Los Angeles responded to the scene of an accident that occurred on the west side of the city and ended in injuries.
Just before 12:30 a.m. on March 12, the authorities were notified that an automobile collision had occurred on Interstate 405.
Preliminary reports show that a silver Toyota Tacoma and a Toyota Prius collided on the northbound side of the interstate. The crash blocked multiple lanes in the area near the underpass at Jefferson Boulevard. Culver City Fire Department responded to provide assistance.
Multiple tow trucks were requested at the scene of the accident to remove the damaged vehicles.
At least one person was injured in the accident and had to be transported to a local hospital for further medical care.
The police department is currently investigating the accident.
