Car Accidents in California
Every day, innocent people are forced to deal with the overwhelming consequences of motor vehicle accidents in California. Quite often, people involved in these accidents are left with serious injuries that impact every single aspect of their lives. Painful physical and emotional injuries can make it difficult for victims to work or simply enjoy life. Unfortunately, the majority of people involved in accidents in our state are harmed as a result of negligent and reckless drivers.
It is all too common for victims to suffer significant injuries as a result of drivers who are intoxicated while behind the wheel. Even though we have strict laws in place to prevent drivers from operating their vehicles while under the influence, it continues to be a leading factor in a significant number of crashes that we see here in our state.
We also see a significant number of accidents take place as a result of drivers who are traveling too fast for road conditions. Every road in California has a designated speed limit that is designed to allow drivers to pass safely based on the conditions of the road, weather, and various other factors. When drivers exceed these limits, they place the lives of everyone else at risk.
In addition, we see countless accidents take place as a result of drivers who are following too closely. When drivers tailgate other vehicles, they may not have enough time to stop in order to avoid a collision should the driver ahead of them have to stop suddenly for any reason.
When innocent people are harmed in accidents as a result of the reckless and negligent actions of other motorists, it only makes sense that they are able to take action and get justice.
