San Diego, CA (March 13, 2023) – A vehicle accident reported on Saturday evening at a local shopping center in San Diego left a pedestrian injured.
The accident was reported to the San Diego Police Department at approximately 5:00 p.m. on March 11.
Reports provided by authorities show that a 63-year-old man was walking near a shopping center on Del Cerro Boulevard during the early evening hours. For unknown reasons, he was struck by a BMW I-3 near College Avenue.
The force of the collision caused the pedestrian to be knocked over. The man struck the sidewalk. The victim was injured as a result of the accident.
He was rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment of a major skull fracture and a brain bleed.
At this time, this San Diego pedestrian crash remains under investigation.
