Car Accidents in California
Automobile accidents occur daily in California that have devastating consequences for the individuals who are involved. Every day, victims suffer significant injuries in accidents. In most cases, the crashes that leave victims severely harmed are entirely preventable.
We see countless people hurt as a result of motor vehicle collisions caused by drivers who are speeding or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Both of these actions can quickly result in drivers losing control of their vehicles. In addition, many accidents take place as a result of drivers who fail to yield to others, run stop signs at intersections, and pass through stop signs. When drivers are inconsiderate to other drivers sharing the road, they can cause severe harm to them.
When innocent people are severely hurt in car crashes, they can take legal action. A personal injury claim can provide you with financial compensation to cover the various damages you face as a result of your accident. This can include compensation for:
- Lost wages: if your crash forced you out of work for any amount of time, you could seek compensation to cover the lost wages that you have suffered.
- Medical costs: you can recover compensation to alleviate all of your immediate and long-term medical care costs.
- Vehicle repair expenses: you can request compensation to repair or replace your vehicle.
- Loss of enjoyment of life: you can recover compensation for the loss of enjoyment of life that you experience as a result of the injuries and the pain and suffering that you have experienced.
