Loma Linda, CA (March 14, 2023) – One person was transported to an area hospital following a crash that took place in Loma Linda on Sunday evening.
Just after 4:10 p.m. on March 12, the California Highway Patrol was dispatched to an automobile collision on the 10 Freeway.
Crash reports indicate that a great SUV and a black SUV collided on the 10 Freeway, just west of Mountain View Avenue. The California Highway Patrol located the great SUV on its roof, blocking the first lane of travel on the highway. The incident prompted California Highway Patrol troopers to close down the highway for an extended period.
One person was injured in the crash. The victim was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center, where they underwent treatment.
Multiple tow trucks responded to the scene to remove the damaged vehicles.
California Highway Patrol troopers launched an investigation to determine what caused this accident to take place. These investigations are ongoing.
