Los Angeles, CA (March 14, 2023) – A crash involving a pedestrian in the Koreatown neighborhood left one person hurt. At approximately 4:15 p.m. on March 14, officers with the Police Department in Los Angeles received a notification that they were needed at the scene of a crash on Wilshire Boulevard.
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Wilshire Boulevard in the area of South Vermont Avenue during the early evening hours. The police officers and area firefighters from Los Angeles County responded to the scene of the accident to assist.
Emergency medical services with the Los Angeles County Fire Department rendered aid to the injured victim. Afterward, the pedestrian was taken by ambulance to a nearby medical facility, where they received additional care for the injuries they had sustained in the collision.
The Los Angeles Police Department has launched a collision investigation to determine what took place.
